I introduced the DES conference a little while ago, you can link to it here. I also discussed the first four speakers involved which you can read here.

Here are the additional four to make up our eight for the day.

Colin Campbell

I’ll be doing a talk at the DES conference to make up numbers. Not too much information here, but it’s something on ethics and how that might or might not be linked with the rising amount of psychological problems that we’re encountering on a day to day basis.

You might not agree with what I have to say but it will certainly provoke some discussion.

Steven Hudson

Steve is well known to many in dentistry for his thoughts, his legal knowledge and also his hard work in compiling three important books, including Messages from Dental Masters and The Dentist Survival Guide.

Steven will discuss post Montgomery consent and GDC guidelines in an 18-minute lecture. Not to be missed.

Nish Yadev

Nish is a colleague that works alongside me at The Campbell Clinic and has done so since September 2016. He is a fundamental part of the team and is involved in general dentistry, restorative dentistry and also our research department.

Nish will be doing a lecture discussing the importance of photography in dentistry and how that can help you as part of the profession.

Jason Smithson

The DES conference falls on the eve of the Jason Smithson Advanced Composite Course ran by The Campbell Academy in Nottingham. Jason will be providing an innovative lecture on preparation which is rarely seen and introduce concepts that will be new to many in the audience.

I don’t want to give too much away on the basis of that as it’s a little bit of a surprise but it may well be worth coming to the DES conference for that lecture alone.

We hope you’re able to make it, we’re trying to put together a group of people who are innovative, interested and want to take their practices forwards in an ethical fashion.

It will be great to see you there. If you want to book on or find out more, click here
