In 2024, it seems fair to say that dental courses occupy a condensed professional space.
Most dental courses are really good at what they do and are well put together, but the Campbell Academy is different.
When you enter the Campbell Academy, you can feel air begin to crackle with the sense of something about to happen, like the static before a lightning strike.
This is world class dental training delivered by an exceptional team who have that unique talent of being so approachable that they immediately feel like friends.
Although we share a name, I am not related to the Campbell Academy but I do recognise that the CA operate under a different gravity....If you aspire to too….then you have just found your home for dental education.

Dominic S

Just finished year 1 implant course. The Campbell Academy is an outstanding environment for learning and development. This course is extremely well designed and logical in its approach and I would highly recommend it to any colleague who is interested in placing implants. I've felt thoroughly supported throughout the last year and have gone from a position of no practical implant experience at the start of the course, to a place where I have everything I need for my implant career to be successful and enjoyable.

Susanne M

A fantastic introduction to implant dentistry. The study days were well organised with excellent speakers and extremely informative. Clinical days which allowed placement of implants with supervision in a state of the art clinic. Look forward to signing up to Year 2

Jack S

Recently finished the Year 1 Implant Course at TCA.
Just wanted to acknowledge the amazing efforts that the team put into this course to make it as good as it is.
They are passionate about what they teach and they truly care and invest in every individual on the course.
Not only have I come out of the course feeling confident about the beginning of a career in implant dentistry, but have made friends for along the way.
Thank you to Colin, Beatriz, Alex, Andy, Tom, Nancy, Ibby, Millie, Brooke, Jess, Becky and countless others along the way that made this year so educational and fun.
Certainly recommend this course to a dentist seeking to begin placing implants

Matt B

Finished my Year 1 Implant course last month and it was one of the best investments I've ever made. Great facilities, really good and supportive team, lovely environment and I feel it has given me a great foundation from which to start my implant career. Couldn't recommend it highly enough to any dentist wanting to start their implant journey.

Catherine M

I really enjoyed the recent Ridge Preservation course with Beatrice. The presentation was excellent and the two hands on practicals very useful in understanding the technique. Beatrice is clearly passionate about this treatment and this shows in her results and the cases she shared throughout the course.
The Campbell Academy always look after you so well. I am just coming to the end of the Year One Implant course and feel confident now to offer this as a treatment option to patients as well as placing and restoring implants.
Thank you for another great learning opportunity.

THE STORY BEHIND OUR YEAR ONE IMPLANT COURSE COMING TO SCOTLAND

LEARN TO PLACE STRAIGHTFORWARD IMPLANTS

Since 2015, The Campbell Academy has provided extensive implant dentistry courses for general practitioners in Nottingham; now, we're bringing the same opportunity to Scotland.

Our Year Implant Course is a clearly designed and developed, straightforward implant course based on the well-accepted ITI guidelines. It provides various educational opportunities to enable general dental practitioners to confidently assess, plan, and execute straightforward implant cases.

Delegates will have the opportunity during the clinical days to place dental implants on patients at Atelier Dentistry in Glasgow and will be followed through their journey to ensure they reach a situation where they’re confident to begin their surgical and restorative implant careers.

This allows practitioners to begin their implant journey in a safe and secure environment.

The resources available for this course enable a range of educational interactions, including peer-to-peer education on an innovative online discussion framework, integration with the ITI curriculum, face-to-face teaching, practical exercises, live surgery, and mentoring.

Dundee offers an ideal central location. Placing the course in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen would require significant travel for those based in the other cities. Dundee, however, sits roughly equidistant from all three, making it far more accessible for clinicians across Scotland, especially compared to travelling to Nottingham.

Through the amazing support of our partners, Wrights, and our Clinical Director of Education for Scotland and Ireland, Professor Colin Burns, we can offer the same fantastic introductory course in implant dentistry in Scotland as we do here in Nottingham.
