Gordon qualified with honours from the University of Edinburgh in 1986 and has spent almost four decades working in general dental practice in Fife. Having worked in both NHS and private dentistry, he brings extensive real-world restorative experience to every course he teaches.
Alongside clinical practice, Gordon serves as Dental Practice Advisor to Fife Health Board, where he leads the practice inspection programme. He also provides expert witness reports for both civil cases and the General Dental Council.
As a member of the Dentsply Sirona Restorative Key Opinion Leader Group, Gordon regularly lectures on restorative dentistry topics including posterior composites, restorative assessment, treatment planning and simplified aesthetic composite techniques.
