I wrote about this years ago.
Every day there’s a crisis, and every day the crisis is different (mostly).
Once we understand that there is a crisis every day, then we can understand that the job is not dealing with the crisis.
The job is seeing past the crisis to the next thing and the next thing and the next thing. The crisis is just a little thing to deal with today before we get to the work of working on the next thing.
