If I had a little bit more money, that would be it. I would be happy with that. I would have reached my happiness level.

If I had a little bit more time, I’d be able to do more of those things that I want to do and that would make me happier and I’d be able to reach my happiness level.

If I had a little bit more status, if people noticed me more or accepted me more or I was more ‘liked’ I would be happier and I could reach my happiness level.

If I was a bit ‘better looking’, if my body was perfect, if I had more hair and my nose wasn’t bent and I was fitter then I could reach my happiness level.

It’s never going to be right, never, ever, ever.

A little bit more of anything isn’t going to get you there (a lot more isn’t going to get you there either)

Your happiness is inside, not outside.

Perhaps, all along, we were looking for it in the wrong place.

Here’s the song that that relates to this.
