Words of wisdom

Professor Andre Schroeder founded the ITI from The University of Bern in 1980.

It is anecdotally reported that he had 2 philosophies to live by in relation to clinical dentistry.

1. Dr Joe Average is below average – true

2. In order to introduce a new material or technique to your clinical practice it has to fulfill one of the following criteria:

It must be research proven to do as good a job as the material / technique you are using but be cheaper

It must be research proven to do a better job than the material / technique you are using

Perhaps a very good couple of lessons to be learned from a master (deceased)
