Artist versus Technician

Have you ever noticed that artists share?

They don’t think that the world is too full of art to produce any more art; they don’t think that if someone writes a great book it will diminish their ability to publish their own book. They come from the perspective of ‘people will just buy more books if there are lots of good books.

The artistic mentality to good art is to celebrate good art whoever produces it and to use it to inspire yourself to produce your own better art.

Technicians don’t do that, they compete.

Technicians, money men, business men, entrepreneurs compete to corner shares of markets as big as possible in effect to eliminate competitors. This is a very philosophy to the artistic philosophy.

Artists produce the best they can time and time again, dedicate their life to the production of whatever their art might be (and remember art doesn’t have to be literature or paintings, it can be any work that you produce) If you produce like an artist you will celebrate amazing stuff done by other people and use it to improve your own art, therefore improving your happiness and success.

It’s possible to be an artist and a technician.
