Roger Federer won 54.1% of all the points he ever played as a professional tennis player.

Interesting.

That means he lost 45.9% of all the points he ever played as a professional tennis player.

Almost 46% of points lost doesn't seem like a good ratio, really but look what it achieved.

What Federer could do, though, along with all the other greats (whose percentages are almost exactly the same), was win more of the big ones.

Pick your battles; is this one of your big ones? Maybe it doesn't matter if you've lost.
