There are still, almost certainly, a lot of people who need what you do. What you do is what you know, and what you know is what you are likely to do well.
And so that thing you already know or that thing you already do: if you find there are fewer people who want the thing you already know or the thing you already do, it may simply be that you need to look more widely for the people who do want it.
There is an obsession for many of us (and I am in no way excluded from this) to find new and exciting products to offer people, when in fact sometimes all we need to do is find more people who have the problem that we are able to solve.
Doing the thing that you know makes you better at doing the thing that you know. That leads to higher quality, which almost certainly provides better treatment, experiences or outcomes for the people you want to look after.
Perhaps instead of scattering our efforts across five, six, seven or eight new products, we should stick to one, become exceptionally good at it, and then simply find the people we already have the solution for. Everything becomes easier and more straightforward.
It's fine to be excited, and it's fine to expand and explore, but sometimes the joy of focus is far more rewarding.
