The more our local patients continue to go to Turkey to have their teeth done, the more we'll have to fix five or ten years from now.
We are already getting a considerable and steady stream of significant problems from work that is done as a result of tourism, particularly from Turkey.
I take no pleasure in this, but we will fix people if they need it.
I would much rather we did not have that business and could focus on other things because many of the cases we are beginning to see now are real heartbreak cases.
But my question to anybody working in dentistry is this…
1) Do you think this tide is going to slow down any time soon?
2) When the work comes back that needs fixing do you really think the NHS is going to be able to fix it?
What's your business plan now?
