This last week, I found myself 'doomscrolling' on my phone in a way I had not done since 2021, checking what the markets are doing and looking at the latest news to see if things were "better", whatever better might be.

There is no peace in this approach; you can't move the mountain - you need to go around it.

It's cool to be informed, but then I just need to get on with the work of being me.

I'm back to scheduling when I read the news like I did back then, restricting where I get it, too.

Reading even more news won't fix my issues or challenges; only work will do that.

I have work to do, and it isn't "news analysis".

Best get on with my work, eh??
