Sunday Night Feeling

Not even after I've been away from my work for weeks do I get ‘Sunday night feeling’.

Not even after I've had the most extraordinary time of little achievements and little moments of joy (see yesterday’s blog), do I get Sunday night feeling.

The fact that it doesn't come, even though I know that it probably should, is a reflection on the fact that I'm one of the luckiest guys I've ever met to have a work life and a home life that I love.

Sure, there will be crises, things to overcome next week, difficulties, sadness or challenges; that’s the same at home. Work is no different to that; in fact, work and home life are all the same.

I think when it becomes all the same, that’s when Sunday night disappears.
