Red Flags

I was having a conversation about this little blog content the other day with someone, and they told me a quote. I can't remember who it was from, and so this is turning me into a sh*tty blog post, but the quote goes like this: "One person's red flag is another person's bunting".

And so here is a red flag that I've experienced now on 2 or 3 occasions that I would suggest you look out for and perhaps avoid (unless you think it's bunting).

People who refer to themselves in the third person.

I have now had 2 or 3 appointments at a practice (historical) where, in discussion with someone who's coming to the practice, they referred to themselves in the third person, for example, "You've never had an implant surgeon like Colin Campbell" - said to you by Colin Campbell.

Once you come across this, it's a sign of a lack of empathy, hubris, and arrogance beyond measure, so seek it out, find them and then run a f*ck*ng mile.
