If you run late for an appointment, something that you have to be at or even an appointment that you're providing for someone else, that's understandable.
Things happen, and life is unexpected and complicated.
If you're running late for all of them, that's predictable.
If you have to work one evening late because your work has run over and you need to catch up, that seems totally reasonable.
If you have to work late into the night every night, that is entirely predictable.
We all get an excuse for unpredictability, but we get to control predictability.
If you're not getting what you want from your life because you don't have enough time, then change your life and get more time.
There are only 24 hours in everybody's day.

Almost all of us have agency over the change.
