Pick a side

It seems more and more, day by day, it gets worse and worse.

No longer can we meet in the middle; now you have to pick a side. Conversations with people we don't know can be difficult, a  trapped door, not able to give over what we actually think or hope or believe, because we'll be on the ‘wrong side’.

It used to be we were closer than this, even though there were still sides. Certainly, it seems that way to me.

It now seems like everybody is polarised, just listening to what they hear from their own little echo chamber from their supercomputer.

Maybe  the side you want to be on is better, maybe the side is kinder, maybe the side is together, but we can't do that, seemingly.  Seemingly, we have to run to one or the other and then shout across the divide.

It won't work, certainly not for much longer and then we'll be sorry that we weren't able to be together a little bit better.
