I invented this a little while ago.
I invented it watching people who try and try and try to make something better and better and better before they release it into the world.
It's a classic example of Seth Godin's “Ship it”
Do the work until it's as good as you can but not perfect and then set it going.
See how it interacts with the world, make it better or can it.
That's all you need to do.
The mistake that lots of people make is that they think that if they work hard enough to make something near perfect, it's guaranteed to be a success.
It isn't.
