Read Online

I was reading a fascinating article the other day that I found on Apple News about dopamine addiction and how more and more we're sucked towards the things that give us a quick rush, the patient acceptance of the lecture invite or the green WHOOP score or the positive blog comment or whatever that is.

I was engrossed in the article, and then I realised I was reading it on my phone while sitting on the sofa while the sun was shining on a beautiful day.

The dogs were asking for a walk, but I was more engrossed in my phone trying to find some sort of dopamine for myself in this article as I judged everybody else for their addiction and laughed at them whilst not realising that all I was doing was feeding my own addiction by reading the article on my phone.

It's hard, isn't it?

It's hard to get a life.
