….It doesn't exist just to stop you from being disappointed.
All progress is like a jagged mountain range: highs, really high, deep lows, but onwards; we travel slightly upwards (on aggregate) all the time if we're lucky, but not linear, not in a smooth, straight line, with no bumps on the road.
