This year, instead of The Campbell Clinic charity ball, some of the team have decided to set up the charity World Cup. The details about this are listed below at the bottom of this blog, but the format is pretty simple.
We've taken over the whole of Gresham Sports Park in Nottingham (where my son used to train for football for the West Bridgford Colts), it's on the 18th of July.
It's a day of fun and music and food and football. Teams of 6 or more, £10 per person and £50 sponsorship per person to raise as much money as we can for all the charities that we work with, which are Bridge2Aid, Framework, Juno Women’s Aid, The Canmore Trust, and Children’s Bereavement Centre.
The Campbell Clinic team will win because they are the best by a mile, and no one will ever beat them, but if you want to come and have a try, you're welcome. Just pay the money and put it in; we're happy to beat anyone, to be honest.
I fully intend to be presenting The Campbell Clinic trophy to my Campbell Clinic colleagues at the end, and so if you would like to have some fun, participate or raise some money, or more importantly, think you can stop us, then get in and do it.
24 teams for a maximum, and it's in June, and the sun will be shining, and it'll be great.
Hope to see you then.
