When you have a list that's longer than you can see the end of, what do you do first? What's one of the things that defines you?
If you are always fighting a fire, always doing the urgent thing instead of the non-urgent important thing, then it's time to take a break.
At least for a little bit, change it around, push the urgent away and do the non-urgent thing.
It'll make things much better tomorrow.
