The problem with wanting to have your ducks in a row all the time is that you stress about having your ducks in a row all the time.
The problem with that philosophy and way of life is that the external factors which knock your ducks out of line are out of your control.
If all you ever want is to have your ducks in a row, you are set for huge disappointment; it is probably better to develop strategies to be able to live your life with your ducks in a row and with your ducks all over the place because inevitably and unexpectedly and suddenly your ducks will become scattered and you'll have to start the process of realigning them again.
