I work in bursts; they're relatively short, then I have a break, then I work again, and then I stop.

At my kids' school, they call it the Pomodoro effect, but it obviously is linked to some sort of ADHD-type characteristic I've adapted to over the years.

I can't do 3 hours at a tilt; it's not possible. I need to take a break, but I need to work really fast and really hard in the interim.

It's worth knowing how you work best, isn't it? Because then you can set yourself up to get the best out of yourself.

Trying to shoehorn yourself into another box is really not gonna work.
