Tolerance and health...

Colin
by Colin on 17/11/16 18:00

For the avoidance of doubt... tolerance is no indication of health.

1. Just because you cough when you try your first cigarette does not mean you are healthier than someone who smokes 20 a day and doesn't cough.

2. Just because you suffer a raging hangover when you occasionally drink doesn't mean you're healthier than the person who can "hold their drink" and drinks more often than you.

3. Just because you've developed strategies to deal with stress which make it less visible doesn't mean it doesn't affect you and slowly kill you.

Tolerance is something that does not indicate health.
