Day Two of the masterclass in Bern began with a detailed CBCT lecture expanding on the topics from the previous day.
This was an excellent and useful lecture provided by Dr Bornstein which was immensely practical and helpful in assessing patients for sinus grafting and confirmed alot of the ood practice we already have in place.
Two live surgeries, one provided by Dr Chappuis and one by Danny Buser showed sinus grafting and simultaneous implant placement in difficult cases.
There was a further lecture from Thomas Von Arx on bone harvesting intra orally and other academic lectures filled the rest of the day. It concluded with a hands on practical on block bone grafting and sinus grafting of the highest order.
An 8.30 start and finishing at 19.00 this was a really intensive day but masses of really practical useful information for me to take back to improve the practice.
Number of action points for me to take back from the course - now up to 102!
