Frightened Rabbit

Pedestrian Verse

Another one from Radio One, Huw Stevens was standing in for someone else and played this as his track of the week. If you have ever followed any other blog posts of mine related to music you will have heard me talk about Admiral Fallow (link)

There is a dazzling similarity between the two: haunting, wonderful music, intelligent lyrics from a young Scottish band but more than that, guys who have made it in the US and have infact returned recently from a sell-out tour in the US despite being almost unheard of in the UK.

They sight Country and Western as some of their influence but I don’t really hear that. I just hear heartfelt inspirational music that is wonderful to listen to driving along or walking the dog.
