Age and Comfort

The older I get, the harder it is for me to get out of bed with a spring in my step (if I ever could).

It seems the more I am drawn to comfort and safety and contentment.

The less I want to hit myself for training, let alone “racing”, and the less I feel the need to kill myself for a little benefit at work.

I say no, more.

This needs resisting, and although it feels harder each day to resist, that means it is essential to try harder.

Whether I like it or whether I don’t, the light is dying (hopefully slowly); it is for all of us.

Most important, therefore, to fight against it.
