On Thursday morning, just for a very short while, I sat in front of 15 (one was late), massively enthusiastic, nervous, and excited colleagues in the Campbell Academy.

This was the 18th time I've sat in front of one of our year groups, and by the end of this year, if things go to plan, I will be sitting in front of the 22nd.

What we have the opportunity to do here is to introduce people to a new way of being a dentist and a new way of living in dentistry. We know this because we've done it a lot now.

At the start, we had to convince people that it was a good thing to do it like this and some of the early adopters believed and trusted us and came and helped to tell the others. Now, more and more it's proven, and although the concept changes and we alter it every single year, the team of people that we have working on this (and it is a big team), are so committed and knowledgeable and enthusiastic that it breeds a better and better experience every single time we start this.

By the end of this year, with a fair wind, the year course will be in Nottingham twice. Dundee, Belfast, and Manchester. And so it goes on, not because it's supposed to be the biggest moneymaking effort the world's ever seen and not because someone is telling us to, but because people are coming and telling the others, and that is extraordinarily gratifying.

This is the way to learn to be an ethical, honest, caring, very proficient, and very well-adapted implant practitioner from general practice.

The growth in that market is enormous.

Is it time you took the leap? Maybe this is the year.
