Most people love the start of a project or an idea; they can imagine the success, the benefits and the rewards that will come; they can project themselves into the future, which is better, brighter, and easier, but when we get these ideas, whether it be changing things in our business or life or family it's best to step back for a minute and wonder what scale we're hoping for when we reach the other side.
This is something that people do less regularly.
Sure, some people think that they may become a millionaire or even a billionaire, but they're not really sure of what that involves or the scale of the operation of the project that would come with it.
Scale is the thing that changes everything.
Scale is the thing which means you don't have as much time to spend with your family as you had before.
Scale is the thing that makes you change your friends, your colleagues, or your team,
Scale is the thing which might take you away from home.
Scale is a thing which may give you lots more money or resources, but that may change your outlook or, your attitude or your approach.
It's fine to wish for something bigger and better and greater, but everything has a flip side, and scale is no different to that.
Bigger is not necessarily better; bigger is just bigger.
Careful what you wish for.
