Today is a special day at The Campbell Academy.

 

It's day one of the Rony Jung World Class Master class.

 

I would obviously say this because it's my place, but Rony is one of the most famous and influential implant dentists in the world today.

 

Some of the things that set Rony aside are as follows: 

 

1) His clinical ability (but you would absolutely expect that)

 

2) His audio-visual ability to present his clinical ability (But you'd probably expect that as well) 

 

3) His ability to present his research in defence of his suggestions for clinical practice (But he's from the University of Zurich so you would expect that too) 

 

4) He is the most wonderful, down to earth and amazing guy with a brilliant backstory (I never really expect that) 

 

Rony is presenting his insights and his tips and hints for better implant dentistry, both practically in aesthetic implant dentistry and the assessment of patients and patient selection, but also in his ability to preserve ridges and the science that goes around this to make us all better and provide better results for patients.

 

There are 16 people here on a full course, and I really do expect this course to be full every year that we run it.

 

What is significant about today, though more than the usual Rony visit, is that we're launching The Year Three Implant Course for the first time today while Rony is here. 

 

Rony and I will chat about this while we're here because his world-class master class forms the central pivotal point of this course around the University of Geneva Master class before that and the master class with Daniele Cardaropoli from Turin after that.

 

We will do surgical procedures, prosthetic procedures and soft tissue procedures all as part of the year three course and wrapped up amongst all of the content and the coaching and the mentoring and the steering you towards the ITI diploma.

 

It's fitting that we launch it today. 

 

And it's fitting that we present it at the start of a long-term collaboration with the University of Zurich.

 

For us, this is a massive day, but the chance to take colleagues in the United Kingdom to a real place of enhanced experience and enjoyment and complexity in their implant dentistry in a way that is different than anybody we've ever seen do it before.
