Sometimes, you're so busy, distracted, or under pressure that you forget to be kind.
Maybe you just miss it or can't focus your attention on it because your mind is distracted elsewhere.
When you find yourself in those situations, stop, take a minute, and respond to the message from your friend, your partner, or your Children. You can also seek someone out and say Thank you for what they did when they were helping you or trying to help.
It feels like you haven't got the time to do it, but it makes the rest of the stuff so much easier and so worthwhile. Just take a minute.
