What loyalty looks like

Loyalty is a type of bravery.

Loyalty is a choice.

Loyalty, (like bravery) shows itself when things are difficult and when the chips are down and some people (but certainly not all) step forward to protect and help those whom they are loyal to.

Loyalty is earned over long periods of time, by actions. It is never given in respect of a title.

To have someone’s loyalty is one of the most precious gifts possible and like all of these gifts, the easiest to break and throw away.

Loyalty and loyalty shown, should never be forgotten, because it is priceless and will often be needed again.

If you find someone worthy of your loyalty, look after them, but if you have someone loyal to you, treasure them.
