If you're reading this blog (or writing it or typing it), you live in a world where you have the most extraordinary freedom.
You have the freedom to go where you want, to do what you do, to change your job, to change your partner, to change your life, to change your health, to change your wealth, to change your knowledge, to change your happiness, to change your enjoyment, to change your fulfilment - all of these things are available to you.
You have access to more information, training, and development than anyone has ever had in history.
You have plenty of money or access to plenty of support and help to allow you to eat and live, start again, refocus, and go in the direction that you want.
The freedoms that you have are extraordinary.
And so, why are we sad, and why don't we notice?
We live in a golden generation, and yet, we seem more trapped than we ever have been.
Lift your head up above the grindstone and see the cornfields.
The world is extraordinary, and the opportunities are absolutely dazzling.
They're available to everybody, to you and to me, if we just reach out and grab them.
Why do we find it so difficult to do that?
Why are we so scared?
