Uncertainty

Uncertainty is a cancer, a voracious PAC-MAN (or miss PAC-MAN) that eats away at the good stuff, reduces the chance of achieving something wonderful because it causes hesitation.

It’s sticky though uncertainty, once it’s there and once it’s in your head it’s a hard one to dispel and dispute.

It’s the voice on your shoulder telling you you’re not good enough or that the end is nigh or that the worst will happen.

The bigger the stakes the bigger the uncertainty beast seems to grow.

Along time ago when I was began in surgery I was told ‘to make my mistakes with confidence’. Perhaps at times this is the only answer to the uncertainty riddle.
