Over the coming weeks in the blog I will be giving information out about The Failure Conference and Charity Ball that are coming up in November, the date of The Failure Conference is the 17th November in Nottingham and the ball is Saturday 18th.
I will go into more specifics about the people who are speaking at The Failure Conference including a Pilot for Easy Jet who will be chatting about how aviation learns from mistakes in line with Black Box Thinking and also one of our patients who has suffered a significant complication and why they didn’t sue us or take us to the GDC; that’s together with 6 other speakers who are going to talk about failure and the management of failure. This should be an incredible day of culture change in dentistry (we hope).
On the 18th November (the following day) we will host The Campbell Clinic’s fourth Charity Ball. This year the theme is The Wild West and it is compulsory fancy dress. This has evolved from the last three balls and it will be bigger and better than before. We are looking for 300 people to come along and have an amazing night and raise lots of money for Bridge2Aid and The Friary. As far as the ball is concerned we already have about a quarter of the tables accounted for before we started to talk about it, but this is the ‘save the date’ and a chance to get involved.
So if you would like to be part of the Ball and you would like to bring your team for an early Christmas night out then please contact us on the details below. If you can’t make it but you would like to support it in some way by donating a prize or anything like that then I would be most grateful and again contact us on the details below.
If you would like to be part of The Failure Conference then contact us in the same place and we will tell you how to do that, there are 80 places available for The Failure Conference. The idea with this though is hopefully for people to be a part of both. Please contact us if this is something you would be interested in doing and we can make arrangements, it’s sure to be a great couple of days.
