The days tick on and so do the weeks and then the months are gone and it's birthday time again or Christmas or easter and you can’t believe it’s 5 years past.

It’s nearly August now and this is the time we launch our year Implant course for the following year (it feels like 10 minutes ago that we launched our 2021 course).

We’ve been running our year implant course now for years and in fact we’ve ran two cohorts this year because demand is so high because I think that people have realised that up-skilling in the new environment is the only way to survive.

We’ve not yet seen the impact of funding on NHS dentistry and what that will look like later but if you’re convinced that your career is going to rocket in an NHS contract and environment, I’m not sure you’ve got the right end of the stick.

People are up-skilling across the board now in dentistry. Dentists are doing aligners, higher end aesthetic and appearance work but many, many more are turning their attention to the possibility of the provision of at least straightforward implants in practice.

The success of our online restorative course has demonstrated that because even guys who are not interested in the surgical aspect are keen to restore some of their restorative stuff themselves and so we move to the year one and the 5 year pathway.

You never become an implant surgeon overnight and you certainly can’t do it in a weekend anymore and there’s no way that anybody should guarantee that after a year or even three; you’ll be at a stunning level of implant provision.

When you decide to take on something as complex as implant treatment for patients, you commit to a journey moving forwards for improvement and experience development which is exciting and wonderful and rewarding.

From the very outset of our Year Implant Course we talked about a 5 year pathway to 50 implants a year or more (or stopping!).

So many of our former delegates have reached this and beyond and so many of them now understand the value of this.

In a world where only 7% of people were placing implants 2 years after a surgical course (that’s where we were when we started with the implant companies) we’re at something like 77%.

It starts in January 2022, it’s now based (in a non-pandemic style), in a state-of-the-art education and clinical facility which is absolutely fully functional in the middle of the country.

If you’re interested the details are here and if you want to speak to people who've completed it and been successful then just hit reply and we’ll put you in touch.

As always and with all our courses like this, there’s 16 places available and no more (we don’t squeeze anyone in). We’ve never known demand for courses to be so high so if you’re keen then have a chat sooner rather than later to see whether this one might be for you.
