There are times when I look at my own profession and the people that are shouting the loudest and wonder where it all went wrong.
And there are other times I realise that it didn’t.
There is a whole and huge constituency of people who are just getting on with stuff in the best way they can and are effectively surviving the day-to-day trials they encounter in trying to live in the 21st century.
This is the silent majority which exists in every population, be it dentistry or nationally.
There is a time coming soon, isn’t there? Where the silent majority will need to speak up because the noise being created from the noisy minority is heading everybody in the wrong direction.
