Let's be clear; emails are well past it and not fit for purpose.

In my new work, I've just been catapulted back into a world of reply all, copy all in, and just a general abdication of responsibility and communication.

And so, here are a few rules that might help you in email communication to make your life better, more effective, and generally happier.

1) Never, ever, hit reply all.

2) If you're going to copy somebody into an email other than the person to whom it's addressed to, why are you doing that? Ask yourself why, and then stop copying.

3) Never, ever reply to any email that you've been reply all'd into If you are in the reply all group and are not the direct recipient of the email.

4) Stop emailing forever and move on to something else (never WhatsApp either)

You're welcome; enjoy your better life.
