Trying to get better at something, anything, takes time, emotional and physical effort and usually money.

Investing in one of these without including the others is destined to fail.

Spend as much money as you like on a course but if you don’t give it any time or concentration you’ll never get better.

Join a gym and stand there for 12 hours a week talking to other people and you will not get fitter.

Bringing things together in effort and in time and investment usually takes you to another place, a better place.

Telling yourself you can shortcut is almost always the route to disappointment.
