The Counterintuitive Nature of Wellbeing

Why is it that when I am stressed I want to do things and adopt the behaviours that make me more stressed?

When I walk the dog in the day, I am well.

When I am prepared to put down my work and take time to take my dog for a work past the pond I am in a good place.

Why is it when I am stressed I put off the dog walk to do more work?

Why is it when I am stressed I eat sh*t that makes it harder to do more work?

Why is it when I am stressed I don’t exercise?

It’s counterintuitive and it’s a battle but it’s a battle that I must continue to fight if I am to last much longer in this.
