Terminal velocity Noun

The constant speed that a freely falling object eventually reaches when the resistance of the medium through which it is falling prevents further acceleration.

All free-falling objects reach terminal velocity.

Sometime soon, both the economy and then after that the development of humans is likely to reach that point.

What will come after that?
