We’re now heading towards Neil’s third case discussion meeting, these are becoming more and more successful with regards to the interaction and the discussions that people are having.
I deliberately stay away from these meetings because I talk too much, but from what I hear from people that are there and from Neil’s feedback that they’re really interactive and excellent.
It’s really important that we openly and honestly discuss cases, good and bad things, to make us better. Peer Review is the best format to do this.
We’ve now developed a standard presentation template that you can drop your photos and information into if you would like to bring cases along. You can find these on our closed Facebook page, or if you would like a copy email Hayley at hayleyedwards@campbell-clinic.co.uk
Please don’t feel intimidated by this and don’t feel you have to complete every box, it’s just a guide to help you put things together in a way that might make it easier for you; you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to.
What we want to do is encourage people to bring anything along with them, even it’s a single model, one photograph or one x-ray that we hold up to the window. It gets people talking and discussing.
These are no threat, no judgment meetings where everybody can get together and have a chat to improve things for patients overall. We’re really looking forward to seeing you and expanding this group as we go forwards.
The evening will be held at Brewhouse Bar and Kitchen in Nottingham on Thursday 27th September, there will be food and drinks available for all who attend. Registration is from 6pm and we will begin at 6:30pm.
