For the fourth time next January we introduce another cohort of 12 people into the TCA implant club. You can download the 2019 brochure from here!
So far, this course has been more successful than we could have possibly imagined, and when I say successful I mean in being able to produce implant dentists and implant surgeons from the people who attend.
We’ve counted everyone who has been, and talk back to them over time to see how they’re getting on.
We make sure that they’re supported in their quest to becoming implant surgeons in practice, and also making sure they have the resources to take them towards placing 50 implants per year.
The course is 12 days and it has a multiple faculty of speakers. We cover as much as we can for a straightforward implant course, including marketing, ethics, basic surgical skills, restorative implant dentistry and the whole aspect of planning and introduction to CBCT and digital dentistry.
It’s the live surgery stuff though that is the real ticket.
It’s planning your own cases in your own practice, talking to them, consenting them and then bringing them to us for the day with your mates on the course as your share the experience, the excitement and the exhilaration of placing implants at an early stage under supervision.
Matched with this is the innovative online discussion platform that we have set up for our courses and how we’re able to encourage people to begin to talk through the courses themselves and beyond as they share their experiences going forwards to become better and more competent implant practitioners.
I can’t tell you how proud I am of what we do here because we wanted to try and do it right and so we set it up that and it turns out that other people wanted to do it right too.
We have some surprises and some new inclusions for 2019 to try and make the course better again but there is a warning that goes with this implant course.
If you sign up to come on to this you will become one of the tribe at The Campbell Academy and it’s likely that you will end up talking to us and sharing you experiences for years to come. Some of the guys that come even end up teaching on the course like Gregor and Anna.
