Still keeping Up?

I know you're doing well; I can see.

I'm sure your fitness is tip top and you're as healthy as healthy can be.

I'm sure your relationships are all on point and your partner is particularly attentive or your children are excelling and are destined to become philosopher, kings and queens.

I'm absolutely convinced that your house is entirely tidy all the time and there is never a cross word said in there.

I'm sure you have all the money you ever need to buy all the things you ever could, and your taste is exceptional, and everything fits together.

Honestly, if I had the time, I would be delighted for you, but you are just not one of my Joneses.

The people who we choose to compare ourselves to are the most important people we choose to do anything in our lives with.

Choosing not to compare yourself to anyone else is almost impossible but making a conscious decision about who your Joneses are is perhaps one of the greatest decisions you can take to influence your happiness (or otherwise).

Comparison (is still) the thief of joy.
