Chris has previously been running around the country, in part, showing off the treatment box that we invented for treatment presentations with the fancy branded SD card. SCED had been showing off their new SD card and electronic patient communication system as designed by Chris on social media – the same as the one we had some years ago.

Alex has just instituted a 10-year guarantee for his dental implant patients in his practice.

… We invented the box 5 years ago.

We invented the SD card with the box (the first in dentistry I think?).

We invented the 10-year guarantee for implants (I think?).

I think I was one of the first people to do a public discussion of my General Dental Council case in a lecture.

I have discussed the suggestions for the surgical guide modifications with three different people and only the third has taken it and ran with it.

We should be upset, as a little team at The Campbell Clinic that the ideas that we have get ‘stolen’ and taken on by others; often improved, modified or refined.

But that misses the point entirely doesn’t it?

Seth’s blog here is the best example of this.

Once you get past enough the purposes change and anything that you’re able to change for what you think is better is a reward in itself because you already have enough.
