It seems like the world is opening up a bit, holidays are really difficult to book and things have started to move.

Events are being booked and promoted and people are meeting up – thank god for that.

On Friday 25th March this year is the ITI annual scientific meeting for the UK and Ireland section.

If you’re a member of the ITI then book and come, it’s in London and it will be great. Lots of great people, really good people meeting up with similar objectives in mind.

There will be a social evening before and a brilliant, brilliant programme with exceptional speakers on the Friday. Just a chance to hang out.

If you’re not a member of the ITI then join and come or come without joining and see what it’s like. If you’ve got any interest in implant dentistry from the most simplistic to the most complex, it’s a great place to be.

The week after on Friday 1st April is our consultation master class at The Campbell Academy.

This is the first event that we’re ever running blended live, so the face-to-face aspect is pretty much full but it’s open to online participation and we’re really excited about this.

You get the full access online and you don’t have to travel or fly or get a hotel or anything like that and you can enjoy it from your sofa.

You can come back to it too because it’s recorded, and you’ll gain access to the recording afterwards.

It’s really about how to introduce new patients to your practice in the best possible way in order to make sure that you can make promises to people that solves their problems and keep those promises.

It’s a cross between psychology and philosophy and technology and it’s the second time we’re running it so hope you’ll think about coming.

A week later again is the osteology meeting in London.

Osteology is like the ITI for Geistlich but bone grafting material business and again they have some great speakers (and then me) but I’ll be doing an exploration in sinus grafting and immediate implant placement in sinus grafting to reduce down healing times for 96% of patients from 9 months – 9 weeks which is something we’ve looked at over the last 15 years.

There’s also a hands-on practical session with myself and Frank Schwarz and Sofia Aroca. This is the royal college of physicians which is a brilliant venue in London. It’s a great chance to have a fantastic meet up with friends and colleagues.

We’ll be doing more stuff during the year including our peer review group which meets every 2 months in the evenings and a big event with Planmeca to introduce people to the practice and introduce people to Planmeca’s products so look out for that as well.

Hope to see you around as things start to open up and the world becomes much more back to where it was.
