I spoke to an older person (in their 80’s) the other day and asked them how they were doing.
They told me they were ‘passing their time’.
They told me that like they were wasting time or seeing time out or just getting by.
It made me think.
We’re all just ‘passing our time’.
Apart from health or war or a few other situations or issues of terribleness, we have a choice how we do it.
Sometimes we can’t move, and it has to be inside our heads and other times we can move and do and be.
It strikes me that some people choose to spend it as wisely as possible and some people don’t.
I choose the first option.
