Not done yet..

Since last Wednesday evening, when I got on a plane at Heathrow Airport to come to the southern tip of Africa and be way closer to Antarctica than to Nottingham, I've had the opportunity to frame what we have against the wider world.

I am so proud of the practice that we have built, not the practice but the place and the environment and the thing.

I've seen some extraordinary things here and met some exceptional people, but the team at The Campbell Clinic absolutely stand side by side with those people in the things that they do and, even more, the things that they hope to do.

We have created a launch pad for what could be the most incredible thing going forward.

We will have the opportunity to make a positive contribution, not only to the people who come through the door but to the society we live in and the wider world.

That is the greatest privilege I could imagine.

I was sure I would leave here intimidated (and in personal senses and clinically, I think that might be the case for me), but not the collective efforts of the people I work with in Nottingham daily.

They should be intimidated by nothing.

They should be intimidated by no one.
