Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been in discussion with one of the most famous implant clinicians in the world.
I’m going to keep it a secret just for the minute about who that is.
I’ve had an amazing privileged opportunity to slightly get to know this individual over the past couple of years and they are everything they say they are in terms of their ability but in terms of their genuine kindness as an individual.
It’s a rare, rare combination that.
The person I’m talking about holds a position which is massively senior in the world of dentistry and implant dentistry in terms of organisation and academia in another country far away.
And so, I asked the individual if they would come to our tiny little version of the world in Nottingham next year for two days to do an intimate hands-on education master class about anterior aesthetic implant dentistry which will be novel and innovative and quite unique.
And so, the individual is coming.
It’s one of those situations that I find myself in where I have to rationalise the fact that if no-one else wants to come then Andy and Alex and I will split the cost and have the most extraordinary consultative teaching session over two days that we could ever imagine.
(Secretly part of me hopes for that to happen).
But I have to wear the other hat of someone who runs a business and tries to offset the enormous cost of bringing such an amazing individual to our little place for a teaching session for 16 people over two days with a meal in the middle.
So, I’m going to put this out there to anybody who’s interested in reading this and tell you that it doesn’t matter what system of implants you use or how many implants you’ve done or how old you are, this will make you better, in fact probably enormously better.
It’s a chance for us to redesign how we offer these type of things and to provide something truly amazing.
It looks like the whole cost of the two day thing will be about £1,900 per person and there are only 13 places left.
All I’m asking is for people to email me at this address to offer an expression of interest so that I can get a handle on the fact of whether I might do this for three people of for 16.
This will be much, much more than looking at slides and cutting a pig.
It will be a group of people, like-minded learning massively with brilliant pre-course and brilliant post-course and brilliant follow-up.
