For the third time this year we will be presenting our Master class in guided surgery and digital implant dentistry.
As is the nature of this subject this course develops year on year to add more perspective in different dimensions in digital implant dentistry in a one day Master class.
The heart and soul of the course is guided surgery from two different perspectives, discussing Sirona as a guided surgery platform and also coDiagnostiX presented by two different speakers with two different perspectives. I will present the Sirona guided surgery aspect of this and my friend and colleague Taimoor Kamran who is a bit of an expert in coDiagnostiX, will present this aspect giving clinical examples.
Andy and Mark will also present and teach us how to mill and print your own guides depending on the equipment you have available to you and there will be some other discussion of the milling machines and printing machines available.
Many of the principles of guided surgery are transferable across different platforms so although this course will be presented in the Straumann system it’s applicable to any other system.
One of the unique things about this course on this day is that we’re able to present the pros and cons of guided surgery, the good bits and the bad bits and how it may or may not benefit your practice overall.
