For every win at the moment, there is a loss.
Anywhere where we gain some cash, we lose double somewhere else.
Anywhere we solve a problem, 3 more arise in front of us.
Anywhere we remove a blockade or clear a hurdle out the way, several appear in front of us, bigger, harder and more difficult to navigate.
If the rest of my team are at the practice, 7 days a week then I need to be there 9.
We burnt down our business and scrapped all of our systems and had to build them from the very start again and we don’t have time to do that because we have to pay for this.
Just as I think we’re making progress; I slide down the hill again.
Recently, Callum and Louis showed me a YouTube video of a Japanese game show where men and women in lycra clothing try to climb up the rubber hill with soap on it trying to get to the top to win money and invariably all of those fall back down to the bottom.
That’s me that is.
The one that nearly gets to the top and then slides on his a**e on the way back to the bottom.
In the end someone finally get’s there and wins the money.
I am not sure it is going to be me, but hopefully I will continue to slide and play the game for as long as possible.
